I view counseling and patients with an integrated approach. That is to say that true healing and the healing journey take place when the mind, body, and spirit are integrated, aligned, and treated holistically during the process. As this journey looks different for everyone, one thing that remains similar is the integrated approach and need for holistic treatment.

While I have been a licensed clinical psychotherapist, addictions counselor, and clinical supervisor for several years, Healing Associates, LLC, was started in 2020. It was born out of a need to do more for the healing process of individuals, to teach counselors in training to be more effective in their practices and to be a consultant for seasoned counselors already working in the field. In addition, I am privileged to have spoken all over the country on justice reform, services for individuals with conviction histories, and specialized training on subjects ranging from ethics and cultural competency to cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
